iCookIndian Street Food

Below are some of the Indian Street Food dishes we will teach you to cook during the iCookIndian Street Food Experience day. Sheek Kebabs

Prepared with minced meat with spices and cooked on skewers. It is cooked in a Tandoor(or as with many of our dishes in a pan with a lid), and is often served with chutneys or mint sauce.

 

Amritsari Fish

This is a dish from punjab, India, and is sold in streets corner in Amritsar. Named after the city where it originated, this easy fried fish dish is a great appetizer or side dish to complement the main course.

 

Channa Chaat

Channa Chaat is a light and crisp salad, delicious on its own or as part of a meal.

 

Daal Pakora

Pakoras are usually served as snacks or appetizers. They are also often served with chai to guests arriving to attend Indian wedding ceremonies.

 

Samosa

A classic vegetable samosa, simple to make and delicious to eat.

 

Yoghurt and Coriander Dip

A very simple dip that is great along side many of our street foods.

 

Mint Chutney

A very simple dip that is great along side many of our street foods.

 

Carrot and Tamarind Relish

A sweet and tangy dip that goes perfectly with our street food.

 

Raita

A cool and refreshing dip for street foods or along side any other dish.
